How Does Writing for Scripted Works?
Once you have claimed a job, you will need to complete it within the specified deadline. Most jobs have a deadline of three business days, although there are also jobs with shorter deadlines. Once you have submitted your job, an editor will review your work. Two things can happen. If the work is good to go, the editor will pass it on to an admin. If the editor requests that you make revisions on your job, you will have 24 hours to submit revisions.
Once the editor has passed your job on to an admin, the admin can send it to the customer for review, or can request that you make revisions on your piece. You will have to submit these revisions within 24 hours before the piece can be sent to the customer.
Once your work is sent to the customer, there are three things that can happen. First, the customer will accept your piece, which means payment will be immediately added to your account. Second, the customer will request a few edits before accepting your job. You will have two business days to submit these revisions. The customer will most likely accept your job after you have made these revisions. Third, the customer will reject the work if the piece you written did not really meet the customer’s requirements.
Once you have claimed a job, you have the option to release the job into the writer pool if you think you will not be able to submit the job within the deadline. Releasing jobs close to the deadline can negatively affect your writer standing over time. So make sure you only claim jobs that you know you will be able to complete.
